Use reminders of different types to plan events of different importance.

Depending on the type, reminders behave as follows:

"Title Window"

shows the reminder text in the window title of the active application - is recommended for minor items.

"PopUp"

the reminder shows a PopUp window in the center of the desktop, it will remain there until you close it yourself - this is for the most important events.

"Animate Icon"

when a reminder is activated the icon in the System Tray will start blinking - if you move the mouse pointer to it, the text of the reminder will be displayed, if you left click it, a PopUp window will open and you'll be able to edit the reminder text or set new time for it – use this one for the events, that are not very important.
